program! Well worth the money. Compare the cost of the program to the
cost of an attorney, and it's a no brainer. The program walks you, in
an interview fashion, through the process by asking the necessary
questions, and 15-20 minutes later you have your legal document.

I use Quicken's Home & Business and it is pretty glitch-free.
The reviews on Quicken's WillMaker Plus 2004 (which includes all the
areas addressed in my old Living Trust, e.g., two types of Living
Trusts, a new Will in concert with the Durable Power of Attorney
documents) were impressive, so I bounced for the software. (...). I am
NOT familiar with doing this sort of thing and legalese can be VERY
intimidating but WillMaker Plus 2004 makes it so EASY, and until you
indicate that you have printed and signed a document created in this
program, you can return and change anything over and over again. If you
need to amend any information in the future, the program will set you
up to do this. Yeah, you still need forms to transfer you home, for
example, from your name to your Living Trust name, to change your
financial institution's beneficiaries to either the Trust name or "Pay
on Death" recipients, but I found I could order these forms on the
telephone and they were mailed to me. I actually did it myself in 3
days. What a feeling of accomplishment!
Lastly, if you doubt your ability to create a binding Living Trust
with it's requisite components, you can run it by an attorney (1 hour's
charge applies) just to make you feel better. You're still financially
ahead by a country mile. The least expensive fee for drawing a living
trust here in Portland was $1150.00
Beware the company managing the rebate offer,
ExpressGroup. I sent all of the information in, they somehow were able
to log my information into the computer, but still note it as
insufficient - and then never notified me of any issues. After faxing a
copy of the documents, and a follow up call, they will be sending the
rebate in 8 - 10 weeks. One would expect that a company whose sole job
is to handle rebates would do this correctly. My experience is
consistent with stories I have heard of companies like this that will
conveniently lose information knowing the buying public will not follow
up.

using a question driven approach, WillPower lets you create a will
quickly, with no learning curve. And at less than $30, it's a lot less
expensive than a lawyer. I wanted a product that would let me create a
will quickly and without a hassle and this product did that.
At
first I was not sure about will software and how good it could be. It
was not until a friend who bought H&R Block's Willpower told me how
good this was and recommends it to me.
I was amazed that it had all I needed to create a will and most
importantly, a living will. I save money with my attorney since I did
most of the work for him.
What I also liked, was the sections where I could learn some of the legal mambo-jumbo to help me understand this process.
I
think the thing that made me most impressed with this software was how
MUCH came with it. Yes, it has the Healthcare Directive I wanted, but
it also came with a Law Dictionary, Estate Planning Guide, and contacts
for other information. This was a great buy for the money. And from a

information is very useful, just the e-book information itself is
extremely valuable. The other "reviewer" said that he did not find it
useful, and that there was no flexibitliy. However, I disagree, you can
make any information as flexible as you choose by simply "exporting"
the data. Many forms here, give you all the legal basics that I simply
could not find on line (that is without having to pay for it). There is
very little information that you can actually obtain for free anymore,
and if you find it, you've probably invested hours upon hours of time
that could be better spent running your business. I'm thrilled with my
Legal Business Pro, now I can do all the work myself, and finetune it
as I see fit (by simply exporting the finished document). And for a
business owner that does business in several states, it has you
covered, as you simply select which state(s) and it extracts the
information relevant to you needs. A great resource, for those who
would rather do their own work than shell out cash every time they need
a simple legal form drafted.
This is a great software product for small business
owners. It has dozens of forms, sample letters, and worksheets to help
with forming a business, hiring employees, borrowing and lending money,
leasing space, etc. In addition to the forms, it includes the full text
of five Nolo books: Legal Guide for Starting & Running a Small
Business, Tax Savvy for Small Business, Everyday Employment Law,
Marketing Without Advertising, and Leasing Space for Your Small
Business. The books alone make this an amazing deal.
Given Nolo's reputation for plain English self-help materials, this
is a must-have for any business owner's computer. The peace of mind in
being able to look up basic legal, human resources, and tax questions
has made this an excellent purchase for me.
I thought I'd better warn people before the fake glowing reviews come in.
This is not very useful software. Quicken seems to be on a robbing
spree. I order a lot of items on Amazon(and wasted a lot of money) but
have never written a review. This software is garbarge, a library or
your Secretary of state website, or IRS website will have all these
forms. The software gives you NO freedom whatsoever and are nearly
unpresentable. They are just TOO generic. This software gave me an
empty feeling of loss. I wrote this review so nobody else would waste
their hard earned money.
